James Carr Band - New Release: Mayday

Sweet! The new JCB release, "Mayday" kicks off with a bang into a great upbeat groove before a slinky chromatic guitar riff creeps into the mix and gives the whole sound a touch of dissonance that reflects the lyrical theme of a world gone wrong. Around and around we go with critiques of phone dependency, political chaos and wishful thinking of a modern John Wayne to "guide us home." This track kicks with it's quick and catchy sound that remains the JCB trademark.
